Data Protection Notice

How Unico Distribution Services Pte Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

Last updated 25 September 2026.

1. Who this notice is from

Unico Distribution Services Pte Ltd (“Unico”, “we”, “us”), at 95 Tuas Avenue 1, Singapore 639523. This notice covers personal data we collect through this website and through enquiries made to us by email or phone.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to give us. This website has no forms and no sign-up. If you email us at enquiries@unico.com.sg, we receive whatever your email carries — typically your name, email address, company, job title, contact number and the content of your message.

If you contact us by phone instead, we record what we need to follow up: usually your name, number, company and what you asked about.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts of any kind. We do not profile your visit, we do not follow you to other sites, and we cannot identify you unless you choose to contact us. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

If we ever add analytics or any other cookie-based tool, we will ask for your consent before it runs and update this notice first.

4. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to do business with you. Specifically:

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.

5. How we use AI

We use AI-assisted tools internally to help us work through enquiries — for example to summarise a long message, group enquiries by type, or draft a first reply for a colleague to check and edit.

Four things are worth stating plainly, because they are the questions people actually have:

6. Consent, and how to withdraw it

By sending us an enquiry you consent to us using your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing our Data Protection Officer at dpo@unico.com.sg. We will stop using your data for those purposes within a reasonable time, and tell you if withdrawing affects a service we are providing to you. Some records may have to be kept where the law requires it.

7. Who else handles your data

We share your data only with the service providers that run our website, email and enquiry handling. They handle it on our behalf and only for the purposes above. Some store data outside Singapore; where they do, we make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead any further are kept only as long as there is a business reason to keep them, and are then deleted. Records relating to customers and partners are kept for as long as the business relationship continues, and afterwards for as long as our legal, tax and accounting obligations require.

9. How we protect it

Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to answer you. This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

10. Access and correction

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used, and you may ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email our Data Protection Officer at dpo@unico.com.sg and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. We may need to verify your identity first. A reasonable fee may apply to an access request, and we will tell you before any fee is charged.

11. Data Protection Officer

Questions, requests and complaints about personal data should go to our Data Protection Officer:

Name: Leanne Yong
Email: dpo@unico.com.sg
Post: Data Protection Officer, Unico Distribution Services Pte Ltd, 95 Tuas Avenue 1, Singapore 639523

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
